They’re open to Class 2A through to Class 2F Registered Building Inspectors, with salary dependent on registration class and experience.
The role is predominantly site inspection focused, with an approximate 80/20 split between site inspections and plan checking. The work is varied, covering both domestic and commercial projects, with sites focused across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

The role
As a Registered Building Inspector, you’ll be responsible for delivering Building Control services across a varied portfolio of projects throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas.
The role is primarily focused on site inspections, alongside some plan checking and technical work.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out Building Control site inspections
* Plan checking
* Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations
* Applying sound professional judgement
* Working closely with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
* Managing a varied workload across domestic and commercial projects (depending on your classification)
* Contributing to the continued delivery of a high-quality Building Control service
