Machinist
Job Description

Reading engineering drawings to guide the machining process to repair/adjust the specific component.
Setting up and operating manual machinery including lathes, milling, drilling, boring and grinding machines.
Working to precise specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tolerances using measuring tools like calipers and micrometres.
Develop solutions to allow workshop teams to overcome immediate challenges by proposing, designing and producing basic, tooling and tooling modifications.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Time served apprenticed trained or relevant qualification.
Extensive experience using and setting manual machining equipment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings in both metric and imperial.
