As a HR Advisor, you will provide HR advice and guidance. Working closely with managers and leaders, you'll help create a positive employee experience while ensuring people matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation.
* Lead all parts of HR, acting as the first point of contact for all Managers and staff.
* Manage a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability and workplace conduct matters
* Support investigations, hearings and appeals, ensuring processes are fair, compliant and well managed.
* Advise and assist Managers in employee relations including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence/sickness cases in a timely and compliant manner.
* Support absence management processes, including compiling return-to-work documentation, identifying absence trigger levels and escalating where necessary
* Manage the HR inbox, ensuring professional responses, escalating any complex issues.
* Building trusted relationships with managers and leaders across the business, providing insight and support
* Ensure HR processes and policies are applied consistently across the company.
* Process new starters and leavers, ensuring all checklists are completed.
* Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR.
* Prepare all HR documentation including contracts and letters.
* Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR
* Support when needed with the recruitment, from advertising to selection, covering that role when needed.
Candidate requirements
* Minimum 2 years HR experience
* Studying for their CIPD
* Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice
* Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
