Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor
Location: Nottingham - Centre based
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on skills and experience)
Type: Full Time, Permanent

We have 2 vacancies available;

x1 Maths Tutor
x1 Maths and English TutorDuties:

Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English (dependent on role) within a classroom environment up to Level 2.
Support other additional topics including ESOL and Art as required.
Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required
The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.

Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients.Essential Criteria:

Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 4 Teaching qualification.
Experience of delivering Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2.
Must hold own Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (either GCSE / A LEVEL / Functional Skills)
Must have experience of delivering training to small groups of learners
Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.Please note:
