We are recruiting ahead of projects expected to commence within the next couple of months and would like to hear from experienced tradespeople looking for ongoing and regular rail work.
The projects will involve a combination of midweek day and night shifts across different locations throughout London.
The Role
Depending on the individual project, duties may include:

First and second fix carpentry
*
Formwork and associated temporary works
*
Installation and repair of timber structures
*
Doors, frames, boarding and general carpentry
*
Reading and working from drawings
*
Carrying out repairs and remedial works
*
Working alongside other trades in rail and LU environments
*
Ensuring all works are delivered safely and to the required standard
What We're Looking For
Applicants should have:
*
Valid PTS
*
BTA competency/training
*
Proven Joinery/Carpentry experience
*
Experience working on rail, infrastructure or major construction projects
*
Ability to work safely in controlled rail environments
*
Good standard of workmanship
*
Flexibility to work both midweek days and nights
*
A dependable and professional approach
PTS and BTA are required for the role. For suitable experienced candidates who do not currently hold BTA, ISS Ltd may be able to arrange the required BTA training.
Rates
Rates are £27.00–£31.00 per hour, dependent on the applicable shift/project.
Payment on all of these projects will be Umbrella PAYE only.
The work is anticipated to commence within the next couple of months, with ongoing regular opportunities across multiple ISS Ltd rail and London Underground projects.
