We have a pipeline of major projects and are building our workforce ahead of work expected to commence within the next couple of months. We are looking for reliable, safety-focused PWTs interested in regular ongoing work across different ISS Ltd projects.
Shifts will include a mixture of midweek days and nights.
Responsibilities
Depending on the project, responsibilities will include overseeing and supporting the safe delivery of track works, ensuring works are undertaken in accordance with the relevant safety arrangements, project requirements and site instructions.
You will be expected to work closely with Foremen, Platelayers and other members of the site team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:

Valid PTS

BTA competency/training
*
Relevant PWT competency
*
Previous experience working within rail environments
*
Strong knowledge of rail safety procedures
*
Good communication skills
*
Ability to work effectively with track gangs and site management
*
Flexibility for midweek day and night shifts
BTA is required for the work; however, BTA training may be arranged by ISS Ltd for suitable candidates where necessary.
All competencies will be checked as part of the recruitment and onboarding process.
Existing Gangs
We are keen to hear from self-contained track gangs, as well as individual PWTs.
If you are already part of an established gang and regularly work alongside the same Foreman, Platelayers or other track operatives, please make us aware of this when applying.
We are particularly interested in developing relationships with established gangs that can work together across ongoing ISS Ltd projects.
Rates & Payment
Rates are £20.00–£22.00 per hour, depending on the applicable shift/project.
Payment is Umbrella PAYE only for these projects.
Work is anticipated to start within the next couple of months, with ongoing opportunities across a range of major London rail and London Underground projects.
