We are looking for a Senior Internal Account Manager / Key Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of key customers, developing strong relationships while driving revenue through upselling, cross-selling and introducing new products and services.
This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, understanding their customers and identifying opportunities to increase account value.
The role
As Senior Internal Account Manager, you will:
Manage and develop a portfolio of key B2B customer accounts.
Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling and identifying new opportunities.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing day-to-day queries and resolving issues.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
Conduct regular account and business reviews.
Analyse customer purchasing patterns and identify opportunities for further growth.
Forecast sales and work towards agreed commercial targets.
Work closely with field sales, logistics, customer support and marketing teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Use HubSpot to manage customer activity, sales pipelines and performance.
Ensure customer requirements, orders and agreed service levels are delivered effectively.
What we're looking for
You'll ideally have:
5+ years' experience within B2B sales, internal sales or account management.
A strong track record of managing and growing existing customer accounts.
Excellent commercial awareness with strong negotiation and pricing skills.
Confidence analysing customer data and identifying sales opportunities.
Strong communication skills across phone, email and presentations.
The ability to build credibility and relationships with senior stakeholders.
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience using a CRM system; HubSpot experience would be advantageous.
