Duties
* Safely remove, contain, and dispose of asbestos materials following strict regulatory guidelines and company procedures
* Prepare work sites by setting up containment barriers, decontamination units, and appropriate signage
* Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carefully dismantle or remove asbestos-containing structures or materials
* Conduct thorough inspections of work areas to identify hazards and ensure all asbestos is properly handled and disposed of
* Maintain detailed records of removal activities, waste disposal documentation, and site inspections
* Follow all health and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during operations
* Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety standards
Experience
* Prior experience in asbestos removal or related environmental hazardous material handling is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, and site safety procedures is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations related to hazardous materials management
