Vanta Staffing is recruiting Production Line Assistants to join a busy food production and packing operation based in Chesham.
Due to the location of this role, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who live locally in Chesham or the surrounding areas and can reliably travel to work for every shift.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, working as part of a team to prepare, pack and finish food products to a high standard.
The Role
Your duties may include:
Working on a busy food production and packing line
Preparing, handling and packing food products
Picking and packing finished products ready for dispatch
Checking products for quality, presentation and accuracy
Labelling and preparing finished goods
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Keeping production and working areas clean and organised
Assisting with other general production duties as required
Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
What We're Looking For
Previous food production, manufacturing, packing or warehouse experience would be an advantage, but we are also happy to consider reliable candidates with the right attitude.
You must be:
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Happy undertaking repetitive, hands-on work
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Able to follow food hygiene and safety procedures
Able to reliably travel to Chesham for your allocated shifts
