Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll oversee night-shift production, leading Team Leaders and production operatives to ensure daily targets are achieved, quality standards are maintained and operations run smoothly.

Production Supervisor – Nights The Role
As Production Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for the smooth running of night-shift operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
You'll lead and motivate Team Leaders and production operatives, manage resources effectively and drive operational efficiency across production, packing and dispatch.
Production Supervisor – Nights Key responsibilities include:
* Lead, motivate and develop Team Leaders and production operatives to achieve production targets.
* Oversee production, packing and dispatch, ensuring deadlines and customer requirements are met.
* Manage labour, shift cover and resources to maintain efficient operations and Monitor team performance, address issues and provide hands-on support when required.
* Ensure products meet required quality, food safety and customer standards.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, GMP and HACCP compliance.
* Ensure cleaning schedules, BRC requirements are followed.
* Complete quality control checks and maintain accurate production records.
* Work with the Production and Technical Managers to resolve quality issues.
* Monitor production KPIs, waste and downtime, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
* Ensure machinery, equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
* Maintain stock levels and ensure materials are stored correctly and Drive improvements in productivity, resource utilisation and waste reduction.
* Ensure production paperwork and reports are completed accurately.
* Ensure employees follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
* Carry out workplace checks, identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure employees have the appropriate training and protective equipment.
Production Supervisor – Nights About You
You'll be an experienced Production Supervisor or Team Leader with a strong background in food manufacturing, ideally within a bakery, pastry or similar production environment.
You'll have the confidence to lead teams in a demanding manufacturing operation, make decisions independently and ensure production targets are achieved without compromising quality or safety.
Production Supervisor - Nights Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous supervisory or team management experience in food manufacturing.
* A food science-related degree or at least three years' supervisory experience and HACCP Level 3 qualification.
* Strong leadership and people management skills backed with Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
* Mechanically minded, with experience working around production machinery.
