Full-Time & Part-Time | Flexible Supply Teaching | EYFS, KS1 & KS2 | Colchester, Essex

Gold Education Recruitment is looking for qualified Primary Supply Teachers to work with primary schools across Colchester and the surrounding areas.

We have a range of Primary Supply Teaching opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, pre-booked work, short-term cover and long-term teaching placements.

Whether you're looking for one or two days per week, regular full-time supply teaching or your next long-term Primary Teacher position, we can work around your availability and preferences.

We welcome applications from experienced Primary Teachers, ECTs and teachers looking to return to the classroom.

The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher in Colchester, you could work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 depending on your experience and preferred year groups.

Your responsibilities may include:

Delivering engaging lessons using work provided by the school

*

Teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

*

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

*

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

*

Supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs

*

Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff

*

Following individual school policies and procedures

*

Providing feedback on pupil learning where required

*

Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare

Longer-term Primary Teacher placements may also include planning, marking, assessment and additional class responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience working within UK primary schools

*

EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 teaching experience

*

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

*

A positive, professional and reliable approach

*

Good communication and interpersonal skills

*

A genuine passion for children's education

*

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

Flexible Primary Supply Teaching in Colchester
