Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A well-established construction consultancy in North London is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to build on their consultancy experience while delivering a strong pipeline of residential projects. The successful Project Manager will join a close-knit team with good client relationships, varied project exposure and clear opportunities to continue progressing.

The Project Manager will take responsibility for projects from the early design stages through procurement, construction and completion. They are looking for a Project Manager who is comfortable managing day-to-day delivery, coordinating consultant teams and communicating confidently with clients and contractors. This would suit a Project Manager at mid-level who wants greater ownership while still having access to experienced senior support.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will work predominantly across residential developments in North London and the wider London market, supporting clients throughout the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include managing project programmes, coordinating design teams, monitoring progress, supporting procurement, managing project risk, chairing meetings and producing clear client reports.

You will work closely with architects, consultants, contractors and developers to keep projects moving and ensure they are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality expectations.

The Project Manager

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
Experience delivering residential or mixed-use development projects
A good understanding of the construction project lifecycle
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Experience coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project teams
Good knowledge of programme management, procurement and risk
A relevant construction, property or Project Management degree
Ideally working towards MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB or another recognised professional qualification
A proactive approach and desire to progress within consultancy Project Management
