How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    *

Working collaboratively with operational and internal teams to support a smooth transition and onboarding process for new placements.

    *

Contributing to weekly placement meetings and providing reports and placement data when required.

    *

Supporting the wider Business Development function with placement and referral activity.

    About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and confident working with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

    You will ideally have:

    *

Previous experience in a placements, referrals, commissioning or similar coordination role, ideally within social care, education or a related sector.

    *

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally.

    *

Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

    *

The ability to manage multiple referrals, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    *

Confidence using Microsoft Office and experience working with databases, CRM systems or similar platforms.

    *

A professional and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.

    *

Knowledge or experience of children's residential care, fostering or SEND education provision would be desirable.

Performance-related bonus opportunity of up to 10%

    *

Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the Leeds office
