How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Furniture Sprayer
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Furniture Sprayer to join our workshop team. Working on high-end bespoke furniture and joinery projects, you will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing a variety of furniture pieces to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional quality and attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Prepare furniture and joinery surfaces for finishing, including sanding, filling, and priming.

    * Apply paints, lacquers, stains, and specialist finishes using spray equipment.

    * Mix paints, colours, and stains accurately to meet project specifications.

    * Produce consistent, high-quality finishes across a range of bespoke furniture products.

    * Carry out quality inspections and undertake touch-ups where required.

    * Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot spray equipment to ensure optimum performance.

    * Work closely with the workshop team to meet production deadlines.

    * Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area.

    Requirements

    * Previous experience as a Furniture Sprayer, Paint Sprayer, or Finisher within furniture, joinery, cabinetry, or a similar environment.

    * Strong knowledge of spray-finishing techniques and materials.

    * Ability to mix colours and finishes accurately.

    * Experience with specialist finishes, including metallic or metalized finishes, would be advantageous.

    * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    * Good understanding of workshop health and safety practices
