An established, multidisciplinary building services and sustainability consultancy are looking to appointment a Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team in either Birmingham or Nottingham.
The business works across a diverse range of high-profile projects within healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical and public sector environments, helping clients deliver more sustainable and energy-efficient buildings. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where sustainability is embedded into the design process, rather than being an afterthought.
The role will involve delivering sustainability advice across a variety of projects, working with both public and private sector clients from planning through to construction and completion.
Key responsibilities include:
BREEAM assessments for new-build and refurbishment projects
Sustainability statements for planning
LZC technology feasibility studies
Passive design analysis
Embodied and whole-life carbon modelling using One Click LCA
Supporting wider sustainability services including ESG, WELL, SKA and circular economy assessmentsThe ideal candidate will have:
Experience delivering sustainability projects within the built environment
BREEAM AP experience and a good working knowledge of BREEAM
A relevant degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Architectural Technology or a related discipline
Experience with One Click LCA is beneficial, but training can be provided
Strong communication, organisation and project management skills

£28000.00 - £35000.00 per year
