Supply Desk are seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated Primary Supply Teacher to work across welcoming and inclusive schools in the Hemel Hempstead area, starting this September.

This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys the variety and flexibility of supply teaching and is confident working across Key Stages 1 and 2. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment, helping pupils achieve their full potential across a range of primary school settings.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, adapting to different school environments and pupil needs, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. The role offers excellent flexibility and is well suited to teachers looking to gain experience across different schools, enjoy a varied working week, or achieve a better work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and KS2
• Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching to meet pupils' individual needs
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Monitor and support pupils' progress throughout the school day
• Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Contribute positively to the wider school environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Primary classroom experience
• Passion for the development of learning
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Inclusive ethics
• Knowledge/Maintenance/Promotion of safeguarding
