HGV TECHNICIAN
Salary: Up to £53,768 per annum + Overtime
Hours: 44 hours per week | Monday-Friday | Rotating shifts
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
·Liaising with the Shift Supervisor regarding daily workload and priorities
·Diagnosing and repairing HGVs efficiently and accurately
·Carrying out servicing and preventative maintenance
·Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
·Completing scheduled safety inspections
·Identifying and reporting any additional repairs or rectification work required
·Completing job cards clearly and accurately
·Participating in the breakdown and call-out rota when required
·Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
·Maintaining high standards of workmanship across all repairs and maintenance

What We're Looking For
·C&G or NVQ Level 3 HGV Technician qualification
·Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
·Previous HGV maintenance and repair experience
·Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
·Understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Professional and proactive approach to vehicle maintenance
·Clean driving licence
·HGV driving licence would be advantageous
