How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Operations & Events Director (Motorsport)

    Are you a senior leader from a motorsport, automotive engineering or high-performance environment looking to shape the strategic direction of a globally recognised motorsport business?

    Do you have a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, driving performance and have a technical understanding of race operations?

    The company is a leading supplier of High-Performance Vehicles, specialising in the conversion of the Porsche 911 for rally racing but they also will create new performance vehicles created by their internal teams.

    The successful candidate will be taking charge of the motorsport department, leading and developing new improvement within the company and providing strategic oversight over new vehicle readiness. This position will be office based but there will be times to oversee company events.

    This is an outstanding opportunity to join a specialist motorsport company's Senior Management Team and take strategic ownership of the Motorsport & Events function.

    The Role:

    Take charge to define and deliver the strategic direction of the Motorsport & Events function
    Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing multidisciplinary Motorsport & Events team
    Own the commercial and operational performance of the company's global motorsport and events programmes
    Oversee race, rally, testing and customer programmes across international markets
    Provide strategic oversight of vehicle readiness, technical operations, logistics and resource planningThe Person:
