Managing projects ranging from approximately £5,000 to £500,000, you’ll take responsibility from pre-start planning through to final handover, coordinating subcontractors and keeping delivery, quality and commercial performance on track.
The role
* Manage fire door projects from initial planning and pre-start meetings through to completion and handover.
* Organise and oversee subcontractors, ensuring clear expectations around programme, quality and site requirements.
* Monitor project costs, progress and commercial performance.
* Liaise with clients and site teams, resolving issues and keeping stakeholders informed.
* Maintain accurate project records and digital reporting.
* Ensure work is delivered safely, to the required specification and within agreed timescales.
* Travel to project sites, with an expected 1–2 overnight stays per week depending on project requirements.
About you
* Previous project management experience with a strong fire door bias.
* Experience managing subcontractors and taking responsibility for project delivery and commercial performance.
* Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.
* Comfortable working across projects of varying sizes and values.
* Ideally based in the Midlands and willing to travel and stay away.
* Fire stopping experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Experience using OneTrace would be beneficial.
Due to the nature of the sites, you will need to hold existing Security Check (SC) clearance or be willing and able to successfully undergo the required security vetting before accessing relevant projects.
What’s on offer
* Salary circa £55,000.
