How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: Programme Manager

    Location: Camden Area, London

    Contract: 12 months, £(Apply online only) per day (outside IR35), Hybrid Role

    Our client, a leading professional body in the healthcare sector, is looking to hire an experienced Programme Manager to join their team.

    This organisation plays a key role in promoting safe and high-quality clinical care, upholding professional standards, and advocating for the profession within the industry.

    The Programme Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive IT, digital, and data strategy for the organisation.

    Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will address critical challenges and ensure that the digital agenda aligns with broader organisational goals.

    The is very much a ‘people, process, and technology’ change related role.

    Key responsibilities of the role include improving digital engagement with healthcare clinicians, reviewing and managing the organisation's technology stack, and leading high-performing teams to deliver IT and digital-related change.

    Requirements:

    - Proven experience as a Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Programme Director in dynamic, sensitive and highly-secure environments.

    - Ideally experience of working within Agile development environments.

    - Ability to establish and manage programmes, build PMO operations, and recruit programme and project teams.

    - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including interacting with senior executives at up to C-Suite level, regulators, the NHS, government, and directors.

    - Demonstrate clear examples of applying innovation and adaptability in fast-paced settings.

    Person Specification:

    - Proven experience as a Programme Manager leading transformational change in an professional setting.

    - Strong leadership skills with the ability to confidently engage with senior executives and stakeholders

    - Ability to assemble and lead high-performing teams to deliver IT, digital, continual professional development / digital learning, and business-related change

    - Experience in integrating programmes into existing organisational or corporate structures

    - Budget management experience with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards

    - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including reporting to C-Suite / SteerCo.

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    - Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Management, or related field

    - Relevant professional certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, or MSP would be advantageous.

    The selection process for this role will involve a shortlist of candidates being submitted to the client and likely two interviews in Central London.
