The role
As a Teaching Assistant working through Tradewind, you could be supporting pupils and teachers across a variety of primary settings. Responsibilities may include:
Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Working with individuals, small groups and whole classes
Supporting pupils with their learning, development and well being
Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and preparation
Supporting pupils with additional needs where appropriate
Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
Adapting to different schools, year groups and classroom environments
We're looking for
A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
Previous experience working within a primary school setting
The ability to support across EYFS to Key Stage 2
A professional, positive and reliable approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Flexibility and a willingness to work in different school environments
