Customer Contact Advisor

Location: Lowestoft
Hours: Flexible, with occasional evening work required
Contract: Temporary (Initial 3-Month Assignment, potential to extend)
Start Date: Mid-October
PAY: £14.82 per hour
  
We're currently recruiting for Customer Contact Advisors to join our client in a busy customer engagement project on a temporary basis.
This role involves making outbound calls to business customers, collecting and verifying information, updating records, and helping ensure customers are fully informed about upcoming industry and regulatory changes. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate customer data while delivering a professional and positive customer experience.
  
Key Responsibilities

Making outbound calls to business customers.
Verifying and updating customer information.
Recording call outcomes accurately and efficiently.
Identifying and documenting any follow-up actions required.
Escalating unresolved queries to the relevant team.
Maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
Working towards agreed call volume and quality targets.
Using internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets to update records.
Handling customer information confidentially and in line with data protection requirements.   
What We're Looking For

Confident and professional telephone manner.
Previous experience in customer service, administration, contact centres, sales, or outbound calling.
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
Competent IT skills, including experience using databases, CRM systems, or spreadsheets.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Reliable, organised, and self-motivated.
Able to build rapport with customers and handle a variety of responses professionally.
