We are currently looking for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Islington for the full academic year.
About the Role
You will work closely with the Year 6 class teacher, supporting pupils with their learning and helping them stay focused and engaged throughout the school day.
You will:
Support pupils with their day-to-day learning
Work with children on a one-to-one and small group basis
Help with literacy, maths and SATs preparation
Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
Encourage positive behaviour and good classroom routines
Help pupils build confidence and independence
Assist the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacherAbout the School
