The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS
* Planning and supporting engaging activities and experiences
* Building positive relationships with children and their families
* Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
* Promoting independence, confidence and communication
* Ensuring children's safety and wellbeing at all times
* Working closely with colleagues to provide a high standard of care and education
* Maintaining accurate observations and records of children's development
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification
* Previous experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting
* A good understanding of the EYFS
* A genuine passion for working with young children
* A caring, patient and nurturing approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A strong understanding of safeguarding
