How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our client, an established organisation within the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking a B2 Licensed Engineer to support the safe and efficient maintenance of aircraft and associated avionics systems. This permanent opportunity would suit a qualified aviation professional with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness and safety.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Carrying out aircraft maintenance, inspection and rectification activities in line with approved procedures
    Diagnosing and resolving avionics and electrical system faults
    Completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to the required technical standards
    Reviewing technical documentation, maintenance data and aircraft records
    Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable aviation regulations and safety requirements
    Working collaboratively with other Licensed Aircraft Engineers, technicians and operational teams
    Maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing relevant certification
    Supporting a strong safety culture and contributing to continuous improvement within the maintenance environment

    Job Requirements:

    Valid B2 aircraft maintenance licence or an equivalent recognised qualification
    Experience in aircraft maintenance within an aerospace or MRO environment
    Strong knowledge of aircraft avionics, electrical systems and associated components
    Understanding of airworthiness requirements, maintenance procedures and aviation safety regulations
    Ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
    Strong fault-finding, analytical and problem-solving skills
    Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to aircraft maintenance
    Ability to work effectively as part of a professional engineering team
