Roaming Mental Health Outreach Worker – Perinatal
Salary: £27,113 per annum, FTE
Salary Scale Point: 15
Hours: Part Time, 22.5 hours per week
Based: Cambridge Office with a mix of community/home/office working across North and East Cambridge in North and East Cambridge (with occasional travel to Peterborough).

About the Service
CPSL Mind’s Perinatal service delivers one to one and group support to pregnant women and new mums and dads who are at risk of, or are experiencing, a mental health challenge in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire.
The main purpose of this role is to deliver the support we offer to new parents in our area by providing a collection of tools and techniques to promote positive mental wellbeing through our groups and one to one sessions.
We are looking for someone who is:
* A female
* Registered with a recognised professional body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, BPS, HCPC or equivalent).
* Understanding of perinatal mental health and the impact on parents and families.
* Has experience of supporting people with mental health or emotional wellbeing needs.
* A strong communicator and a compassionate, person-centred approach.
* Knowledgeable of safeguarding, risk assessment and confidentiality.
* Able to work independently, manage priorities and build positive partnerships.
