TXM Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Principal Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Normanton.
This is a key technical leadership role, working across analogue electronics, power systems, SMPS, digital electronics, embedded systems and LED technologies, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of analogue, power and SMPS electronics.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
Develop and integrate control systems, HMI and LED solutions.
Lead troubleshooting across power conversion, EMC and thermal management.
Review and approve circuit designs, PCB layouts and technical documentation.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, compliant solutions.
Drive continuous improvement and new technology development.About You
Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Strong experience in analogue electronics, power electronics and SMPS design.
Knowledge of buck, boost, flyback and other power conversion topologies.
Experience with Altium, SPICE, MATLAB or similar tools.
Strong understanding of EMC, thermal management and safety standards.
Experience mentoring or leading engineers.
Hands-on approach to complex technical problem solving.
