About the Role
Fusion Staffing is currently supporting a school in Croydon that is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team after October half-term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will play an important role in creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support children with SEN in their daily learning and development.
Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to children who require additional assistance.
Encourage children's social, emotional and communication skills.
Help maintain a safe, positive and stimulating nursery environment.
Support children with their daily routines, including playtime and classroom activities.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working as a Nursery Teaching Assistant or in a similar early years role.
Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable.
A patient, caring and nurturing approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for helping young children learn, develop and reach their full potential.
The ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
