If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician who enjoys a good mix of mechanical work, diagnostics and keeping busy in the workshop, this could be worth a look.
We're recruiting for a Technician to join an established workshop, working on a variety of vehicles and carrying out everything from routine servicing and repairs through to fault-finding and diagnostics.
The role
* Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
* Carry out vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required
* Complete mechanical repairs to a high standard
* Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
* Carry out MOT preparation work
* Keep accurate records of work completed
* Work efficiently to agreed timescales while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
About you
* Level 3 qualified preferred, but experience is more important
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
* MOT licence would be a bonus
* MOT training available for the right person
* Full UK driving licence required
Benefits
* £36,000–£40,000 basic, depending on experience
* OTE up to £50,000 based on time saved
* 39 hours per week
* Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:15
* 1 in 4 Saturdays, 08:00–12:00
