Working Hours
The role operates on a rotating two-week shift pattern:
Week 1:
Monday to Friday – 6:00am to 2:00pm
Week 2:
Monday to Friday – 2:00pm to 10:00pm
You will alternate between the two shifts each week.
About the Role
As a Stores Operative, you will be an integral part of the warehouse and stores team, helping to ensure stock is received, recorded, stored and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Managing goods in and goods out operations
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving stock safely around the warehouse using pallet trucks
Carrying out accurate stock checks and inventory control
Recording stock movements and product information using the company's CRM system
Updating and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office
Ensuring stock is correctly stored, labelled and accounted for
Preparing and organising stock for dispatch
Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised stores and warehouse environment
Working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations
Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
About You
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised individual who takes pride in their work and can work effectively in a busy stores environment.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
Previous experience within a stores, warehouse or stock control environment
Strong knowledge and experience of goods in and goods out
Experience handling and moving stock safely
The ability to safely operate pallet trucks
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills
The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
A reliable and professional approach to work
