About the Role:
Bring creativity, consistency and care to a SEND Class Teacher role where learning is shaped around each pupil. Teach Now is recruiting for a welcoming SEND school in Broxbourne, supporting young people in Years 7–11.
You will plan engaging, accessible lessons that respond to pupils educational, social and emotional needs. Working closely with classroom support staff, you will establish clear routines, build confidence and help pupils develop their skills and independence.
Alongside teaching and assessment, you will contribute to curriculum planning and work with families and colleagues to support each pupils wider development. SEND experience is welcome, but strong classroom teaching, adaptability and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience leading a class, including planning, teaching and assessment.
The ability to adapt lessons for pupils with different abilities and needs.
Confident classroom management and a positive approach to behaviour.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with families and professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver differentiated lessons for pupils in Years 7–11.
Use assessment and individual targets to guide teaching and recognise progress.
Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom.
Coordinate support staff to provide consistent learning experiences.
Share progress with families and contribute to curriculum planning.
