A key role within the day-to-day running of the kitchenYour responsibilities will include:

Supporting the senior kitchen team with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Leading kitchen operations in the absence of senior chefs
Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service
Assisting with menu development and maintaining recipes and standards
Supporting with food costing, ordering and stock management
Training, mentoring and developing junior members of the kitchen team
Ensuring the kitchen maintains excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and organisation
Helping to maintain a positive, professional and efficient kitchen environmentWe are looking for a Sous Chef with:

Proven Sous Chef experience within a high-quality restaurant environment
Experience within Michelin, 3 AA Rosette or an equivalent high-end kitchen would be highly desirable
A genuine passion for quality food and exceptional standards
Strong organisational and communication skills
The ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team
A hands-on approach and the ability to perform under pressure
