We are currently recruiting a dedicated and supportive Learning Support Assistant to join a college in Loughton, supporting young people with their learning, development and day-to-day access to education.
The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support to learners, helping them access lessons, develop confidence and become more independent.
You may support learners with:
SEND and additional learning needs
EHCPs and individual support plans
Communication and learning difficulties
Classroom engagement and participation
Developing independence and life skills
Positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing We Are Looking For The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working as an LSA, Teaching Assistant or similar support role within a school or college
Experience supporting learners with SEND/additional needs
A caring, patient and encouraging approach
