The role of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic
Service, maintain and repair a mixed fleet of refuse HGVs.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections.
Complete repairs to a high standard and minimise vehicle downtime.
Work safely and efficiently as part of an experienced engineering team.What the ideal HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic would need
Previous HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic experience.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
Commercial vehicle experience.
A good understanding of preventative maintenance.
