Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Wakefield
Basic Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 DOE
OTE: Between £43,000 - £50,000+ per annum
Hours: Full-time, five days out of seven

Priority Recruitment are working with an established telecoms franchise to recruit a Store Manager for its Wakefield store.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading from the shop floor. You’ll own sales, service, and store standards while coaching your team to perform at its best. We’re particularly keen to speak with experienced telecoms Store Managers, as well as strong Assistant Managers who are ready to take the next step.

Lead, coach and motivate the team to deliver strong sales and excellent customer service.
Sell alongside your team, helping customers find the right mobile, broadband and accessory solutions.
Take ownership of store targets, using results and customer feedback to identify where performance can improve.
Manage day-to-day operations, including stock, merchandising, compliance and reporting.
Support your team through regular feedback, training and clear expectations.
Resolve customer issues professionally and work closely with the wider management team.What we're looking for:

Management experience in telecoms or mobile retail is strongly preferred. We’ll also consider an Assistant Manager with substantial responsibility for store performance and operations.
A track record of coaching people and delivering against sales targets.
Confidence working on the shop floor and handling customer conversations.
Strong organisational skills and a good grasp of store standards and compliance.
A practical, positive approach to leading a team through a busy period.The store trades 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Saturday and 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Sundays. You’ll work five days out of seven. Managers are generally expected to work around one Sunday per month, with flexibility depending on store cover.
