About the NPD Packaging Technologist job
As the NPD Packaging Development Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the end-to-end development and launch of new products and product improvements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with customer, commercial, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Key tasks
* Coordinate new product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines and milestones are achieved.
* Oversee packaging development, including specifications, supplier coordination, trials, artwork approval, and implementation.
* Maintain product, packaging, and project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
* Coordinate factory trials, product testing, and commercialization activities.
* Manage relationships with suppliers and external partners to support product and packaging development.
About You
Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Packaging Technology, Sustainability, Product Development, or a related field.
* Experience in NPD, packaging development, or project coordination within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
* Knowledge of product development processes, packaging materials, and regulatory requirements.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management systems.
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and time management.

The NPD Packaging Technologist job is based in Colchester and is paying according to your experience.
The package includes 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and a statutory company pension contribution.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
