How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Liaise with external suppliers and fabricators.
Undertake surface modelling and GRP tooling design.
Support Project Managers with technical information for client decisions and specifications.
Work closely with Production and fabricators to identify and resolve design and build issues.
Design and develop deck fittings, custom components and fabrications.
Develop stainless steel and other bespoke fabrications.
Design exterior mechanical systems and installations, including pushpits, passerelles, biminis and deck hatches.
Maintain design databases, drawing registers, weight estimates, sail plans, deck plans and general arrangements.
Provide clear and accurate technical information to support production.
    About You

    You will ideally have:

Proven experience in a yacht, marine or comparable technical design role.
Strong 3D parametric modelling experience; NX is desirable.

    Practical knowledge of sailing yachts.
Ability to produce and interpret detailed technical drawings.
    Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working closely with Production and manufacturing teams.
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A genuine interest in yacht design and production.
    Desirable Experience
Technical degree in Design, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
    Previous marine industry experience.
    Knowledge of Naval Architecture.
Understanding of sailing systems including hydraulic rams, furlers and winches.
Experience designing exterior yacht components and systems
