Chemistry Lab Technician

This Brigg Scientific client are a Chemical Manufacturer in Birmingham and they are looking for a Lab Technician to support their Analytical testing team, for both QC, R&D and Customer Support.

Key duties:

* Wet Chemistry Analysis involving titration, pH testing, moisture and conductivity.

* Bespoke testing specific to manufactured products

* Sample preparation for further HPLC analysis

* Accurate record keeping

* Responsibility for testing sign off.

* General Lab stewardship

* Following regulated quality systems

Successful candidates will have a background in Scientific education or work experience. Applications are welcomes from recent graduates or those with work experience in the Sciences. Those with Chemistry focused degrees/experience will have a distinct advantage.

This is a contract role running for 14 months to cover a Maternity leave.

Rate of pay will be £12.99/hr for a 37 hour week. Equivalent salary of circa £25,000. Hours are Monday to Thursday 7am - 3.30pm. Friday 7am - 12pm
