The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and develop in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting children's learning and development through fun, engaging and play-based activities
Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
Supporting children's social, emotional and communication development
Helping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment
Working as part of a team to meet the individual needs of each child
Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers
Supporting nursery staff with the smooth running of the setting
We're Looking For
You do not need a formal Early Years qualification for this role. We're looking for individuals with the right attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to working with young children.
Ideally, you'll have:
Experience working with children in a nursery, school, childcare or similar setting - desirable but not essential
A genuine passion for working with young children
A caring, patient and positive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A flexible and reliable attitude
A willingness to learn and develop within the Early Years sector
The ability to adapt quickly to different nursery environments
