We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to provide holiday cover at a busy warehouse in Milton Keynes.
This is a hands-on role working within a busy warehouse environment, assisting with the sorting and disposal of different types of waste. Full training will be provided, including approximately 3 days of training at the start of the assignment.
Duties will include:
Sorting and handling different types of waste
Baling cardboard and other recyclable materials
Assisting with general waste disposal
Handling electrical waste and other recyclable items
Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and organised
Following site health & safety procedures
Working as part of a busy team and keeping up with the pace of the environment
About you:
Previous warehouse, recycling, waste or manual handling experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
Physically fit and happy with a role involving manual work
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
Must have your own suitable PPE, including safety boots and hi-vis
This is a 5-day holiday cover assignment, starting on Monday 27th October, with training provided, so it would suit someone looking for short-term work.
