Brake Press Setter Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Setter Operator to join our client's busy manufacturing team.

The Role

As a Brake Press Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC brake press machinery to produce high-quality components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC brake press machines

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Selecting and changing tooling as required

Programming machines and adjusting settings

Checking dimensions and quality of finished components

Working with sheet metal and various materials

Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

Working safely and following company procedures

Meeting production targets while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements

Previous experience as a Brake Press Setter/Operator

Experience setting CNC brake press machinery

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Good understanding of measurements and tolerances

Experience with sheet metal fabrication

Good attention to detail and quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant manufacturing/engineering experience
