How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Exciting news from us at Daisy: we’re re-branding to O2 Business!

Following the merger between Virgin Media O2 Business and Daisy Group last year, we’re taking the next step in our journey by announcing our new brand!

As O2 Business, we believe in the wonder of simplicity; the joy of that comes when technology works as it should, with reliability, clarity, and speed.

We’re incredibly excited about this next step in our journey and you could be on that journey too.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to ensure that B2B systems meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Your analytical, questioning and problem-solving skills combined with knowledge of business processes and systems will be key to the successful delivery of change.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 – 5:00/5:30 (37.5 hours)

    What You'll Be Doing

As a Business Analyst you will:

    * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, and gain clarification on what stakeholders want to accomplish, questioning to the level of detail required to uncover the full picture and any potential impacts that may not have been previously considered.

    * Translate business needs into functional specifications for the development team.

    * Ensure that requirements are aligned with business objectives and user needs.

    * Document requirements clearly and concisely so they can be easily understood by stakeholders and anyone else involved, providing information on what is needed to achieve the desired business outcome.

    * Create User Stories and/or Epics (as applicable), structured as “as a [role], I want to [action], so that I can [outcome]”, to outline the work required to meet business requirements and support validation during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

    * Build flow and process diagrams and/or wireframes where required.

    * Identify options for solving business challenges, working with business stakeholders, third parties and internal development teams to facilitate decisions on the best solution.

    * Provide documentation to enable third parties or developers to progress with the agreed solution.

    * Support third parties and development teams in the technical refinement of solutions, remaining available throughout the delivery process to answer questions and ensure the final solution meets the intended outcome.

    What We’re Looking For

    * Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role where equivalent skills have been demonstrated.

    * Strong understanding of business processes and telecoms technologies and systems.

    * Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.

    * Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle, DevOps, and cross‑functional squad/team environments.

    * Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar project management and documentation tools.

    * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    * Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.

    What’s in it for you

Our ethos is simple: the more you put in, the more you get out.

    What we Offer:

🌴 25 days holiday + bank holidays, with an extra day for each year of service (up to 30 days!)
🎉 An extra day off on your birthday or if you're getting married
💰 £500 referral bonus – bring great people, get rewarded!
📈 Professional development – training and support to help you grow
👓 Eye care vouchers and discounted Medicash membership for healthcare savings
📱 Exclusive Virgin media and O2 deals for you and your family/friends
🛍 Exclusive discounts and savings at over 1,200 retailers

At O2 Business, we’re passionate about developing those who drive results and build rewarding careers. As a Business Analyst this is your chance to make a real impact.

Apply Now and take the first step toward your career at O2 Business. Every CV is carefully reviewed by a member of our hiring team. We’ll be in touch soon to talk more about the role and the journey ahead
