We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join its Responsive Repairs team delivering maintenance and void property works across Woking Borough Council's housing stock.
Key Duties
Electrical testing, inspection and fault finding.
Reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied and void properties.
Domestic rewires and electrical installations.
Kitchen, bathroom and heating system electrical upgrades.
Ensuring all work is completed safely, compliantly and to a high standard.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent).
17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Full UK Driving Licence.
DBS check required.
2-5 years' experience within Social Housing, Property Maintenance or Building Maintenance.
Ideal Candidate
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working directly with tenants and customers.
Ability to manage workload independently and work efficiently.
