Assistant Finance Business Partner

Pure are partnering with a charity in Cambridge on the recruitment of an Assistant Finance Business Partner, this will initially be on a 3 month contract while the permanent position is recruited.

This role reports into the Finance Business Partner and will facilitate communication and support between finance and the wider organisation, this role comes at a period of growth for the charity and as they continue to grow you will be key in ensuring that financial and operational impacts are considered at all times.

The key duties are as follows - 

- Working closely with the Finance Business Partner to support management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering. 
- Analyse financial information and identify trends and variances
- Support in areas of the budgeting and forecasting cycle
- Undertake agreed month-end activities
- Provide clear financial guidance, training and support to budget holders
- Provide flexible support across the finance team
- Support with the development, implementation and improvement of financial controls. 

You must have proven experience in a business partnering role and be comfortable taking on the above mentioned duties. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy skills are essential in this role. You will ideally have used or have knowledge of Power BI.
