Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A leading construction consultancy is seeking an ambitious Senior Project Manager to join their established Project Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who wants to take ownership of major schemes, work with high-profile clients and join a business with an outstanding reputation in the market. The successful Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio spanning 12 core sectors.

The Senior Project Manager will initially play a key role across an exciting student accommodation development and a large-scale regeneration scheme. With several significant projects progressing through the pipeline, they need a Senior Project Manager who can hit the ground running, confidently lead projects and provide clients with a high-quality service from inception through to completion.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex construction projects, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include managing programmes, coordinating design teams, overseeing procurement, monitoring project progress, chairing meetings, managing risks and ensuring projects are delivered to the required time, cost and quality standards.

The Senior Project Manager

The successful Senior Project Manager will ideally have:

Strong Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
Experience managing projects independently from inception to completion
Exposure to residential, student accommodation, regeneration or major development projects
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Strong knowledge of the construction project lifecycle
A relevant construction-related degree
Ideally MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB or working towards a recognised professional qualification
The confidence to manage multiple stakeholders and make informed project decisions
