How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teacher – Dudley

    Job Title: SEN Teacher
    Pay Rate: £140 – £253 per day
    Start Date: October 2026

As an SEN Teacher, you will work within a specialist education setting where your expertise will have a direct impact on the lives of pupils who need tailored, supportive, and creative teaching approaches.

    The Role

    As an SEN Teacher, you will support pupils with diverse and complex learning needs. Your focus will be on creating highly personalised learning experiences, fostering communication, engagement, and independence in each pupil. You will work closely with Teaching Assistants to ensure all pupils receive consistent and effective support.

    Responsibilities

    Deliver differentiated and accessible lessons tailored to individual needs
    Plan lessons around individual learning objectives and EHCP outcomes
    Collaborate closely with Teaching Assistants
    Monitor, record, and promote individual pupil progress
    Champion communication, independence, and engagement 

    Skills and Experience

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Previous SEND teaching experience highly desirable
    Experience supporting Autism, SLD, PMLD, or complex needs beneficial
    Strong understanding of EHCP outcomes
    Enhanced Child/Adult DBS required
    24 months' references

    Location: Dudley
    Contract position – starting October 2026
