How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team.

Safely operating an FLT to move pallets and products around the warehouse
Loading and unloading vehicles using the FLT
Moving incoming stock to the correct storage locations
Loading and positioning pallets safely and efficiently
Preparing stock and pallets for dispatch

Maintaining safe working practices around pedestrians and other warehouse equipment
Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean, tidy and organised
Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
Working closely with colleagues to ensure stock is moved efficiently and accurately
Although FLT operation will be a key part of the position, this is a hands-on warehouse role, and you will be expected to assist with general warehouse duties when required.

    FLT Licence Required

Candidates must hold a current, full and transferable FLT licence and have previous experience operating an FLT in a warehouse environment.

You will still be required to complete the company's site-specific training and assessment before operating independently.

    Pay:

£14.50 per hour during site training
£15.75 per hour once fully trained

    About You

    Experienced and confident FLT operator
    Current, transferable FLT licence

    Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
Physically fit and happy to carry out general warehouse duties
Able to follow site procedures and safety instructions
    Good team player
Previous experience within a produce, food or fast-paced warehouse environment would be advantageous

    Own Transport Essential

Due to the location of the site, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive to work.

The site is in the TN12 area and is not accessible by public transport, particularly given the shift times.

Please check your journey to the site before applying and ensure you can reliably travel to and from work for the full shift.
