Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our global client for a Senior IT Project Manager who can offer experience working delivering large scale IT/Technology projects  within a logistics or commercial operations environments.
Experience delivering projects across areas such as distribution operations, terminals, supply chain, transportation, contracts management/confirmations or other operationally complex environments would be particularly valuable so this experience should be highlighted in your application.
Strong candidates will have earnt their badges in either PMP, MSP, PgMP (or equivalent ) as well as Agile qualifications / experience, along with competence in supplier management and with tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps and Jira.

The role

As a Senior IT Project Manager you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of complex, high-risk and strategically important technology projects that support business objectives and digital transformation goals. The role requires end-to-end accountability for project delivery, ensuring clear governance, effective stakeholder engagement, financial control and successful business outcomes.
You will establish clarity across scope, schedule, costs, dependencies and risks, while leading multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with senior business sponsors, technology teams and suppliers, using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate.

Essential Skills and Experience

Extensive experience delivering large-scale technology projects with significant business impact and senior stakeholder visibility.
Strong project planning, governance, financial management, risk management and change control expertise.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across business and technology functions, manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches and selecting the most appropriate method for successful outcomes.
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide clear recommendations and challenge constructively in complex environments.Does this sound like your next career move? Apply today!
