Head of Programmes & Impact - £48,000 – £55,000 | 35 hours/week | Permanent

35 hours per week, 26 days holiday, hybrid working, class pass - access to gyms, fitness studios, salons and spas, on-site parking

A wonderful opportunity for a Senior Programmes Lead to join this inspirational charity which provides high impact programmes aimed at young people from under-represented backgrounds. Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with 2 days remote working available. The other 3 days requiring to be in the offices based near Lewisham

The Head of Programmes and Impact is a strategic role, which leads on Programmes, Impact and Communications work, responsible in helping to drive forward the 2026–2030 strategy. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

* Senior leadership experience in programmes, impact or service delivery within the charity or mission-led sector

* A proven track record securing income from trusts, foundations and/or corporate funders

* Strong experience with monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks

* Experience leading communications or engagement to support fundraising and impact

* Confidence managing relationships with funders, partners and senior stakeholders

* A track record building and developing high-performing teams

Reporting into the Strategic director, responsibilities include:

* Lead a portfolio of high-quality, evidence-based programmes aligned to strategic priorities

* Grow income from trusts, foundations and corporate funders, building a strong funding pipeline.

* Embed a robust monitoring, evaluation and learning framework to evidence impact

* Lead communications for impact — compelling storytelling that amplifies participant voice and strengthens funder relationships

* Line-manage the programmes and communications teams, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations. Support staff development, performance and onboarding.

* Promote cross organisational working across programmes, income generation, and communications.

* Lead on safeguarding and risk management across all programme delivery
