Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable dealership in Loughton, Essex, for the position of Vehicle Technician. This Vehicle Technician role offers a structured career path within a professional environment focused on high standards of vehicle maintenance and customer service.

Full-time hours (45 per week), working weekdays and weekends on a rota basis
Opportunity to utilise a Level 3 qualification within a supportive team environment focused on quality and safetyDuties:

Conduct routine servicing and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles, including diagnostics and warranty work
Perform tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and general maintenance activities
Complete accurate and timely digital write-ups and job cards
Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to diagnose faults and ensure vehicle safety
Adhere to manufacturer procedures and safety standards to maintain quality standards as the Vehicle Technician
Support team colleagues in delivering excellent customer service and uphold workshop standardsRequirements:

Recognition of a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic, ideally with exposure to warranty and servicing procedures
Strong teamwork ethic with a commitment to high workmanship and safety standards
Knowledge of electronic vehicle health checks is advantageous to the Vehicle Technician
MOT licence is desirable; full training will be provided for individuals without this certification
